So far I've only used the pump once, and that was to pump down my above ground swimming pool. It worked great, the extra long cord was really nice, and set up was easy. the only con I would have, is there was not a threaded connection for a standard garden hose to use as a drain. I ended up using the vacuum hose from the pool as a drain line. However, the way the pump is made, a trip to your local Home Depot, Lowe's, or hardware store can fix that issue. You would need to purchase a threaded coupling to size the drain down to whatever size hose you choose to use. I also like the attached float shut-off.

It comes with fittings in two different sizes but not the standard size for a garden hose. The fittings are not even PVC but some cheap black plastic that will crack for sure under stress or temp differentials. Why didn't they include a fitting for a garden hose: it's obvious that if one buys this piece of equipment it is not for industrial use but for some home project. Right? Was it too expensive to throw in an additional 25cent piece of plastic? The specs don't even mention the connectors / fittings sizes: why not? So I got this pump and I had to schlep 25 minutes to a hardware store just to get a piece of plastic. I buy online BECAUSE I don't want to waste my time running to stores. The floating switch: you simply cannot control it. When the water level gets down to the height of the pump the switch goes flat: at this point you have a 50-50 chance that it may be on or off. The switch wire is right next to the power wire and they get tangled up. If you use the pump in a deep container (like a barrel), you will have to attach a cord to the switch and hang it on the edge of the barrel, making sure it doesn't bend downwards, to make sure it stays on. Lastly: 23 ft lift? Not on this planet where standard gravity laws still apply. Try the moon.Read full review

Works really good..works about as good Amazon and eBay review hunters banging up my fucking email every single time I order anything. "How did you like your 13" big Mike jelly willy dildo?" It was great now stop emailing the shit out of me. Don't even read the reviews just hit that add to cart, take a chance Columbus did.

Parent's house was flooding we removed at least 800 gallons every other day by 5 gallon buckets. It came at the right time and installed it and no longer flooding ran additional drainage to the house and sleeved the discharge through the drainage. 👍May soon get another one for my business.

I needed to pump out water filled holes in the backyard for a gazebo after heavy rains. This unit was 1/4 the cost of a pump at Home Depot....Fast as heck. I recommend it because of the value.
