I had read an earlier version of this book. This one is even better. Using his formula I had lost 15 pounds (got rid of my small but excessive belly) easily and have kept it off for years. This is a eating plan for one's life and it works and makes perfect sense. I have read many books on healthy eating, this one brings it all together and documents it in scientific terms. This is the best book for health and appropriate book I have ever read. It's a must read book if you're interested in health and well being.

The book was recommended by a close friend, who had a family member with cancer... A regimen similar to the one in this book helped him tremendously... There is a lot of good information here, but recommending people eat only veggies and fruits and most of them raw would not provide enough working fuel for very active people... We require meats as well... The book is a little dry, but all in all, not a bad read.

I ordered 3 to give to my children, 2 out of 3 were good, one of them had a lot of underlines which I had to erase most of them, but a couple of pages were in ink, so I had to leave it. But other then that, this is such a good book with lots of information. When I first bought the book, I couldn't hardly put it down. Now after about a year, I'm re-reading it again.
