I used this kit to convert my mountain bike to an Ebike over the winter. Now its spring and I've been riding my Ebike everywhere. Everything works great. I have no complaints at all. Just remember that you will need to be a little mechanically and electrically inclined to install this kit properly on your bike. And you'll need certain tools like a soldering gun, shrink tape and possibly an electrical tester as well. Take your time. Find a good spot to mount all parts and mount them securely. All the parts do what they are supposed to do as long as they are installed correctly. Dont be the goober who throws this kit together half baked and then complains that its having issues. The only slight "con" that I can think of is that the peddle assist mode isnt very useful to me personally. Peddle assist kicks the motor in full blast after you peddle 2 or 3 times. You cant really keep up with it by peddling unless you're going up a steep hill. Then again, that's what it's designed to do. I prefer to use a balanced bit of throttle and more leg power instead. It's all relative to what you prefer I guess. Bottom line is that this kit works great. Just be sure to buy a good battery for it. Your choice of battery is more important than which of these wheel kits you buy. Buy a cheapo battery and travel 5 or 10 miles before the battery dies. I bought a good battery that gets me around 40 miles as long as my legs do some of the work.Read full review
