I was sceptical....but wow!
I have a 8month old yorkie-poodle mix....to call her hyper and uncontrollable is an understatement! Even my vet commented on her excessive energy and behavior, which certainly didn't leave me feeling like an adequate "mommy" to my puppy. After reading the reviews on this product I was still apprehensive about purchasing it. I am so very thankful I did! I cannot give enough praises...it has calmed not only my puppy but the entire house. I literally felt I was at wit's end. My beloved little pup turned our quiet peaceful home upside down and caused total chaos between herself and my other pets (an older dog and a cat). So far I have given her one treat a day for two days in a row and already notice the difference! My husband used to call her psycho due to her "craziness and lack of ... I believe this product has helped her (and I) tremendously and we will continue to use it for as long as is necessary....with her that might be forever! If you are looking for a natural alternative to medications for your dog/puppy I recommend trying this product. I'm very thankful I did!

Great product for little dogs
I have a 8 year old female poodle mix who has major anxiety issues and typically barks at anyone yelling or talking to loud outside our apartment. granted like any medication or calming aid it takes a bit to work... but the next day she was calm and sleeping most of the day. My only complaint is these were a bit hard for her to chew but it worked...

I have tried several different dog calming aids for my newly adopted 3 year old dog that has severe separation anxiety. Nothing seemed to help. I tried the kennel spray, the air diffusers, the water drops, the oral gels, the collars, and several other oral supplements, but nothing made any noticable difference in her behavior. "NaturVet Quiet Moments Dog Calming Chews with Melatonin" really seems to help her relax while my wife and I are away from home for a few hours. Our dog, Willow, (a 55 lb. Pitbull) completely destroyed 2 metal crates, shredded our carpet, and splintered our door mouldings. Our neighbors also kept us informed of the terrifying sounds that eminated from our home while my wife and I were shopping or out for dinner. We just give her the recommended dose about 30 minutes before leaving, and give her a treat ball when we leave and things are much quieter while we are away. Everytime we leave and come back, things are a little better. We do still crate Willow, but the crate is fully intact with everythingelse in one piece as well. Willow lives the taste of these "Quiet Moments Chews" too. She just gobbles them up like any other of her favorite treats. My wife and I are hopeful that eventually we won't need to use these calming chews to get our quiet moments, but for now, we, and are neighbors are very thankful for them and will continue to use them as long as necessary.
