My Mid-2010 Macbook Pro 15.4" had been suffering from the "kernel panic" issue which caused random reboots. This was annoying and was becoming more frequent. Since a new 15.4" MBP would cost over $1500 and other than the reboots my macbook was not lacking in performance, repair was a much more attractive option than replacement. These guys fixed my laptop for a fraction of the cost of replacement and much less than other repair quotes I received. The turnaround time was quick and my MBP was very well packaged when it was returned to me. It has now been working great for several weeks and since they use higher quality components, the issue is not expected to return. I recommend this service to anyone with a Macbook Pro that has a logic board issue.

I am a tech but I don't have the tools for this type of repair so I bought their repair service and sent my Macbook Pro to the specified address. Their communication is EXCELLENT. They did communicate all the way with pictures of how they received my laptop and everything. I am satisfied with their repair and their communication. Also, their shipping is reliable with insurance and required signature. Just perfect. On the other hand, the battery of my Macbook Pro was 6 years old and had 580 cycles left. I understand it wasn't in the best shape, but still worked fine. They offered to replace the battery for $60. I KNOW the battery price goes from $35 to $80. I thought I would give them the opportunity to sell a battery so they could make a couple of bucks easily. I didn't mind at all. We techs have to help each other. But what a surprise I got when I received the laptop back! I opened the laptop to install the SSD and HDD and the first thing I saw was that one of the battery's screw holes WAS BROKEN! But why? I thought it was new. Well, NO. I removed the battery to inspect it and it is OLD. It has stains like it got wet or was in a very humid place, and has a lot of old dust. They didn't even cleaned the battery to at least disguise it was old. The worse thing is that when I turned on the laptop, I confirmed it is used because it had 895 cycles. A new battery comes with 1000 cycles, so this old one has 89.5% of life and I bought it for $20 over the price of a new one. They gave me the excuse that they also charge labor on the installation of a new battery. BUT WHY? The laptop is already dismantled and the battery was out. Next time I will get the hardware by myself. And I say next time because they revived my laptop and that counts for something. Now the truth is I feel a little disappointed because I expected a NEW battery for that price but I cannot whine a lot because they installed all 4 rubber feet free of charge, which cost around $4, and offered me 90 days of warranty on the parts and labor. To sum up, they are great in their communications, handling and repair of the laptop, with warranty. After all, I recommend them, but be careful if they offer hardware parts because they might be used and old.Read full review

Apple MacPro 15 inch, destroyed by Cafe Latte and my ignorance removing main board. No, it didn't work, i had video but no backlight. Besides, the entire video and board were short circuiting. I sent it expecting them to say it couldn't be repaired. Why? Because that is what official Apple service people said. This is what happened: I sent the board. Within 10 days the board was back. I examined the board (and no I am not a computer expert but I know a few things about the circuits. EVERY fuse was replaced. Every bad component replaced with new connectors. Looked like the video components had been expertly replaced. Installed board. Booted machine......... WORKS BETTER THAN WHEN IT WAS NEW! Your not sure about sending your board to this repair service. You don't think it can be fixed. THINK AGAIN!! To the people who did the repair. I am VERY impressed and thank you.Read full review

Apple Store couldn’t fix it. They offered me $40 for buy-back! LOL! A local repair shop couldn’t fix it. They suggested I get a new laptop. J&M Industries had it back to me in perfect working condition within a week’s time! So awesome! Couldn’t be happier.
