As expected. Undoubtedly, some people will scream about Eotech and how they lied and made efforts to conceal the zero drift, and government contracts and product returns and blah, blah, blah. But honestly, the problems with zero drift on Eotech has repeatedly been shown to affect only units exposed to sub freezing temperatures. I don't plan to shoot in those conditions unless the soviets come knocking (unlikely) and if they do, I have backup irons. I love this holo. It has some typical wear to the finish and is fully functional. The only complaint I have (due to the used condition) is a couple of superficial gouges in the aluminum hood but, I think I can gently file them out for the most part and with a fresh coat of Cerakote, I doubt they'll be visible. The reticle is a touch blurry when viewed with the naked eye. When paired with the magnifier though, the blur is unnoticeable. eRead full review

Right as you open the box you can tell it's a nice product. Unfortunately no matter what I tried I couldn't get the sight to give a clear reticle for "fast" acquisition. I tried keeping both eyes open, only focusing on the target, etc. like you are supposed to. Nothing worked or at least I would have to blink repeatedly to get the reticle to become un-blurred. I also noticed that it was especially difficult in low light to get the reticle to clear up. Eventually it would become clear but only after blinking or pointing into a bright spot which would suddenly cause the reticle to un-blur to my eyes. It is important to note that I have 20/12 eyesight which is better than 20/20 and equally important to note that I am cross-dominant when aiming. This means I'm right handed but I aim with my right eye closed unless I'm on a rifle in which case I've trained myself to close the left eye. Again, I had both eyes open on the EOtech as I understand that is the correct way to use the holographic. Maybe this is why it wouldn't work for me. I was disappointed. It's a cool sight but just didn't work for me and I really wanted it to. Might be because I'm cross-dominant. Very curious if EOtech has any research on this phenomena and how it affects the properties or functionality if at all. I hope this review helps. The vendor Huntersbargain was very patient and gave no trouble and I would highly recommend doing business with them.Read full review

Excellent quality optic with a precision 1 MOA center dot and a 65 MOA outer circle which doubles as a range estimator AND, a holdover/hold under point for 7 yards and 500 yards. This model also has a built in raised QD mount which allows for lower 3rd co-witness with the irons for fail safe in case of damage. Would love longer battery life but this is what these run and the optic itself blinks with enough warning time to remind you to change the battery. Would buy again.

I put HWS this on a Rock River X1(.308/762NATO) rifle along with the EOTech GS33 magnifier, to be used for deer hunting on the Eastern Shore in Maryland. This sight is nothing but the TRUTH. Very easy to sight in, took me about 3 rounds. Now the first dot is zeroed in for 25 to 200 yards. The brightness levels are easy to adjust from the earliest of the morning right on through the brightest of daylight. They are pricey but I have never owned or used any optics this superior and I own several Leupold vx2's and vx3 rifle scopes which are in this exact price range. I wish I could afford to one of these on all my rifles.
