OK, so my wife says I need new picks like I need another head. I keep telling her I'm looking for the perfect one. Now, this may not be the same for you, but the thickness on these picks is perfect. The description says there are 3 different thicknesses but I really haven't noticed that yet. Of course I haven't gone through all 100 yet. Bottom line: how can you go wrong??? First, you're lucky to get a dozen at this price, let alone 100. Second, they are really nice looking picks. The colors really stand out. Lastly, did I say how can you go wrong at this price? ;-) Anyway, unless you are looking for a thick rigid pick, these will definately do the job!

The batch all smelled like Vicks vapo rub. I had to air them out before using them. Thickness of the picks varied, but it is fair to say they were in the .5mm range +/- .2 mm. The lot of 100 was only 98 with three cracked or broken ones, which then made the total of usable picks, 95. Still a good value for 95 picks. I used these and a heat gun to take the display/LCD screens off of cell phones and to open cell phones. These very thin picks do the trick when stronger and thicker pry tools do not work. Basically, a throw away item, because after opening a cell phone or taking off a display, the picks will be damaged.

All of the picks in my pack are 0.45 mm, when I was hoping from the description that they varied in thickness as well as in appearance. They seem to be celluloid (based on the ping pong ball smell), and visually they range from "kinda pretty" to "wow, that's neat". The photo on the listing is pretty representative of what I got, but it was not of high enough resolution to determine thickness. Unfortunately, I don't play picks this thin. 0.7 to 1.0 mm is my preferred range. I had always planned to give my mother the ones I wasn't going to use, but this turned out to be practically all of them. I kept a few because they match my pick guard and are thus suitable for covering holes and damage. and a few others to use as templates when I cut up old credit cards. A note in the listing that they are all of the .45 mm thickness would have been nice. However, if you actually play thin picks like these, then this is an excellent value.Read full review

These were much thinner than I thought they would be like half as thick as a fender thin pick. I put on some gel super glue and put two together and seems to be the same thickness as a regular thin guitar pick. Good for strumming an acoustic with extra light strings like 9's or 10's but way too thin for my taste on electric with heavy 13's... Good for kids, ukelele, or if you lose picks

What's to say? They are guitar picks. It seems a majority of them are probably geared towards electric because they are a nice weight. There are a few slightly heavier and a few that are lighter so I think the main batch was what you will use. At least for me anyway.
