Overall the phone is pretty fast. It has a sleek form factor. I have not had any problems with it yet. However, the battery life is very short. I would have preferred a thicker phone with longer life.

The reviews people write are true. Everything about this phone is great except for the battery life. I thought that maybe the people who complained about the battery life being very poor, were avid phone users and gamers, and that a person who uses the phone very little such as myself, would be just fine. This is honestly not the case at all. I will have my phone fully charged animal stream 10 to 15 minutes of YouTube and it will already go down a full 10%. This thing Burns through batteries. I am lucky to get by the whole day on one charge with fairly minimal use. If you don't mind having to carry around your charger or a power bank with you, the phone is a good option. The battery life really is such a bad thing especially since everything else about this phone is so nice. It is powerful, sleek and run so nicely. The camera is awesome. The pictures turn out very nice. And going between apps is very easy. It's too bad HTC didn't do a little bit more work and put in a better battery. I still gave this phone 3 stars because I don't mind having to charge it more then I would like for the exchange of a phone that works well and that is not expensive.Read full review

Very good phone, it has a lot of good, neutral and bad points, i have like two weeks with this phone and i can say: fits perfectly for me, but not for everyone. Positive points: -Performance (processor and RAM): Speed is excellent! multitasking is better with 3 GB RAM, easily change between apps and surf the web fast. -Front camera Front camera is awesome! Sincerely I got impressed with pictures even at night, seems like a $400 phone camera. Also video feature is excelent, if you like "selfies" you definitely gonna love this phone. -Design Design is absolutely the best thing about the phone, I can say is front camera, which is good, but design is better, everything is where it should be, it really looks like silver, is very attractive and feels good to touch. -AMOLED Screen I really love this kind of screen! Good colors. -Android 7.0 Nougat upgradeable. -Fingerprint sensor, really good for me, I can open my apps with mi finger, without typing my password. -NFC Pay I can use Android Pay or Wells Fargo Mobile Wallet for buy my stuff in my local stores, so when I forget my credit card and I don't have cash with me I can pay with my phone. Good feature. -32 GB storage I like this! A lot! You can not find a phone with this specifications, not at this price. System and system apps eats 9 GB of the available space, but 22 GB still in there! Awesome! Neutral points: -Rear Camera Rear camera is good, I can not expect more. I mean is not bad, but I was not impressed with this phone camera. Excellent pictures, bad video recording, looks like it does not have OIS. -Screen size 5.0" Good for everyone, not big, not small, perfect! -1080p screen This is the really bad thing for me and good for others. This phone processor (and GPU over all) is not enough for a 1080p screen, so you can get lag sometimes while you are using your phone, I really got disappointed with this, I prefer a 720p screen with excellent performance, not a 1080p screen with good performance. Gaming is the biggest problem with this feature, lag sometimes and a little overheating. Bad points: -Battery life Is not enough, I have 4 hours max per charge (when I say "per charge" I mean fully charge, not kidding) but fits perfectly with me because I like the idea of carrying with me my powerbank in my backpack, and my powerbank also has quickcharge 3.0 feature which is compatible with my HTC One A9. 30 minutes of charging and I have 💯 percent again! (Look for quickcharge 3.0 powerbank or 3.0 quickcharge charger on Ebay, it is necessarily with a phone like this one, believe me) -Overheating Sometimes seems like the phone is hotter than normal, and its true, I do not know what is happening with this phone, but is not frequent, don't worry. -Screen brightness Not good for a sunny day, you can see nothing in the screen. Really bad.Read full review

This phone excels any other Brand or Cell Phone on the market in my opinion. However, it is so filled with excessive BLOATWARE that I cannot, in good conscience, give it the 5 STARS that it deserves. I have had many cell phones from many different carriers, but I have NEVER encountered so many unneeded APPS in any other brand. Yes, you can disable them BUT by the time you run down the entire list, many of them have already TURNED THEMSELVES BACK ON. Had I not been in such dire need of a phone at the time that I purchased this one, I would have purchased a GSM phone...but then I ask, would that really have done much good since much of the bloatware is HTC?!

I'll be quick on this. I had this phone for about 2 months now and so far i purchased a portable power bank and it doesn't matter how much power does that have. At the end if you are a heavy phone user due to social medial and games like myself you won't get that far with it. This phone it's ok for people that uses it once in a while for calls of messages only. The phone takes good pictures and videos as well but again that would drain your battery life very quick. So I would suggest you to buy this phone ONLY IF YOU DON'T PLAY GAMES OR USE IT FOR SOCIAL MEDIA. Otherwise you'll end up looking for something better. This would've be the perfect phone if battery didn't die that quick.
