If you enjoy listening to the hit songs from the best rock singers/groups from the 80s and 90s, this is a great choice and excellent value! 5 cd's with 20 songs on each prov used hours of great nostalgic rock ballad listening from perhaps the greatest era of rock music ever. If you're in your late 40s-early 50s, this is a great choice! Songs I haven't heard for years bring back wonderful memories of a far less challenging time before iPods and iTunes and smartphones ruled the entertainment from music. Just solid hit after hit to pass the miles and hours in your car, or catching up on those chores or just hanging out at home letting the world outside pass by without bothering you and being reminded of times gone by, all sung by the original artists of the day. My 17 year old daughter was amazed listening to songs that she'd never heard before and enjoyed listening to as much as I did back in the day. I get a kick out of her reaching over and cranking up the volume to songs that I did the exact same thing to. I found I had never heard most of the songs, in fact I had never even heard of several of the artists! Some of the artists (ex Steppenwolf, who was my all time fave growing up) have songs that were never even played on the radio. I suggest reading the song lists before buying or plan on keeping the remote handy. It did not cost much, and sometimes you really do get what you pay for. Very disappointed.
