This is the same tuner that came stock on my 2008 Yamaha Pacifica guitar. I used these to restore a friend's 1980s Ibanez guitar. Good for low cost restorations; not for higher-end stage gear. Works fine; grommets fit nicely.

They're not great IMHO. The good thing is that they're cheap and they arrived quickly. The bad is that they are very uneven when it comes to turning them. They go from semi stiff to super stiff while turning the knobs, almost requiring pliers to turn them. It made restringing a rather laborious task. Also, they have a lot of play in the gear mesh. I can get about a quarter turn on them before seeing a tune change on the headstock tuner. The gear ratio looks to be 14:1. I personally used these on an entry level guitar with broken plastic knobs just to get it sold. I don't plan on buying them again.

These machine heads are an excellent value to replace them in foreign made guitars. About the same wuality as the originals. For the price, you can't beat them.
