As I'm typing, I'm sucking on some medicated jolly ranchers which turned out fantastic. The tincture was so simple to make and if my calculations are correct, my candies are about 15mg of THC per piece. Literally a no-brainer to make the tincture. The candy making portion can be trickier if you've never made candy before, so make a batch without the tincture first to practice. You must have a candy thermometer, so don't attempt without it. You can find one in any major grocery store, in the baking aisle. I also have a bottled of tincture lefover & have been spraying it in my mouth. Wow, talk about fast relief! Warning though, if you made your tincture with 191 proof Everclear like mine is, it will burn when you spray in your mouth. Take a swig of water right after spraying & it gets rid of the sting immediately. I also spray it on my knees when they hurt & I do find it gives me some relief from knee pain when sprayed topically. Back to the candies, I figure it cost me about $150 total to make 1000 candies. Marijuana is legal in my state, and candies generally sell for $2.00 per piece.
