The last one got stolen, This is a good quality and I like the brass knob, no worry about breakage. It makes a pinging noise when the gas valve is opened, this lets you know the gas is on and is normal. The flame has a nice fine point and burns clean. This is good for smaller work.

This is one poorly made item...The flame has a very limited range of adjustment, and you can't be sure it is actually off unless you check for a small blue light in the nozzle tip in the dark. This item should be recalled, and I can't believe that anyone in charge of importing these torch heads knows nothing about the problems with it. VERY DANGEROUS PRODUCT!!! IMO.

Used it for 10 min and almost burn my house down. The little brass fitting inside that keeps a steady flow of fire did not work like it should of and a golf ball of fire ignited i had to rush for a glove to shut the nob off. Thank God it didn't blow up on me.

the flame will not focus into a cone that i can use for brazing , soldering and general heating. It just a big useless flame. it does not perform like my old benz- o matic. a total waste of money.

This seems to be all brass and while it doesn't have the feel of an seventy dollar torch, it seems very functional plus, a lot less money. I like that the adjustment knob is solid brass too, not like the old plastic knobs, which will melt when it gets hot after constant use.
