A nice value for the price: basic, solid, and a good fit for my vintage Harmony A. Pretty good padding too. It could fit better if the goodies box were a little lower, say, 1/2 to 3/4 inch, or, a bevel was put on the headstock end and a well was made for the neck at the other. It's a good fit, but there's room to let the mando sit lower at the neck joint and bridge (smushes the top padding a bit), which which could increase protection quite a bit. All in all, though, it's tough to beat for function and purpose. I'll buy another if I'm looking again!

Doesn’t close very easily. I have to pull the top toward me in order for it to clear the bottom half so it can be latched. Also, I worry about the bridge on my Ibanez mandolin. Extremely tight fit when closing the lid. Hope the bridge doesn’t break. I guess it’s a good value but can’t recommend it.

I bought this case with the possibility of using it for either of two mandolins. One was an arch top A style. The other was a flat top (and back) A style. The arch top mandolin's tuners did not fit this case. But it fit the flat top mandolin perfectly.

I have purchased a few of these and for $29.99 they are an unbelievably great value! I use them for vintage banjo ukuleles. Banjo uke cases are hard to find because not many manufacturers make them and this one fits many (but not all) different size banjo ukes.

My wife bought a mandolin, no case, she kept is wrapped in bubble wrap. Needless to say the case was perfect high quality protection for a beautiful instrument. Now if I could get her to leave it there when she is not playing it.....
