This glock grip plug is not just a plug but dubs as a pin punch and mini flat head and comes with a small container for gun oil. The punch tool I find useful but the little canister for oil is a bit useless. The canister would be difficult to use as it has a pop up lid and no method for applying the oil. SI should consider changing this design and replace that space for a spare round if ammo. The cavity currently will allow a 22lr to fit. So this plug will go to the 17-22 . I would have rated a full 5 stars if I didn't feel the canister was useless. The product is very well made but I can't find the verbiage stating where it was made. Though I want it to be made in USA, I just can't be sure but I do know that SI does not make anything from China. If I had to guess it may be from either USA ... Very handy
Good idea can pack a little lube and use the tool on other things like ajusting sights. almost for get you have it and look clean on the gun . Not the easiest to get to have to use end of a key or the tip of a rifle round to push the button. Would recommend very nice and well made .

Changing this design and replace that space for a spare round if ammo is Not Practile I would rate a full 5 stars

Seems well made, fits perfectly in my G17, love the concept behind it, flushes up nicely with the magazine. My only issue is that you need a punch or tool to release it... so it kind of makes having a tool in there senseless if you need a tool to access it...
