Great self-protection!
These pens look like ordinary pens in your pocket, and no one every notices you're carrying them. (I haven't tried to get them through airport security, though.) They appear completely non-threatening to the casual observer. They only give 3 or 4 sprays, and they only go about 5 or 6 feet, so they are a close-in protector against one attacker. If you anticipate a large group of attackers, you're going to need a larger capacity spray can. But the pepper spray inside is VERY hot, and if you put one squirt in your attacker's eyes, he WILL stop his attack and leave you along. The spray is VERY hot and burns for about 24 hours. My wife and I each carry one constantly. everywhere we go. I used mine once in Las Vegas against a street robber, and he gave up his attack in about 2 seconds! ...
