Cuts great and so much nicer not dealing with oil and gas. Hard to believe it could run so well on such a small battery. Can't say how much cutting time you'll get as I haven't gone through more than one battery at a time and haven't drained that in a single use yet. So easy to get out and use. From being folded up till your actually cutting is just minutes. No pain in transporting from one area to another, its so light I just collapse the mowing handle down grab the carry handle and off to another area or yard in my case to do my dads next door. Runs at a certain RPM, then spins faster when starting to cut thicker grass. I've been curious about this mower for a couple of years and after having continuous problems with 2 different gas mowers both due to the quality of gas available now, I believe. Anyhow this little light weight mower is a gem so far. Love the single adjustment lever to raise and lower the entire deck, the included pieces to change from side dischargeto mulching to rear bagger. You could change it easily from one to another in ten feet of mowing without feeling you lost time in your cutting day, if that's what you choose to do. I've tried each method already, and all work as expected. Quick release levers for handle collapsing or erection to start cutting, large rear wheels, single lever deck adjustment 3 different cutting styles, lightweight and a carry handle. What more could you want for a few hundred dollars. I've been using self propelled gas mowers for over 40 years but I'll never go back. This is so much easier, quicker and quieter that I'll never go back.Read full review

I purchased the mower new Spring 2018 and was initially happy with the size, weight and features. The first mowing was less than stellar and both batteries died before I could finish. I was told that the battery performance would improve after the batteries were recharged a few times, but my experience has been the opposite. I've never been able to completely mow my grass in one mowing no matter the length and the mower gets bogged down with moderately thick grass. The property is a 1/4 acre lot with a single story 1100 sq ft house, 5'x22' front porch, flower beds surrounding most of the house, a 10'x28' deck, a 10'x70' driveway and public sidewalks crossing through the front of the property. According to B&D's website, this mower is ideal for mowing up to 1/3 acre and shouldn't have any issues handling my much smaller lot. I'm selling it to buy a Ryobi.Read full review

This is great for someone with a lawn that has things to cut around. Plants...etc. Battery takes around 3 hours to fully charge and around 30 minutes of continuous use to be flat. So...if you have a large yard you will still need your gas mower. All the functions work well...side discharge...mulch...bagger. They are easy to set up. Assembly is around 2 minutes. You have to put the upper part of the handle on. So...to sum it up...great mower for obstacles since it is easy to maneuver but for large yards this wouldn't work out as battery recharge is 3 hours.

Easy to assemble, cuts well with little effort. I have about 1370 square ft. of lawn and still had a small amount of battery life left. Good product and good price.
