I figured I would save a few bucks and buy a generic one that looks identical, but I'm sure glad I bought the Eagle Jet Torch instead!!! It's only a difference of $2.00, I mean come on... You might as well get the name brand one! Works excellent came with some butane in it also. I think that's a shipping no no but who really cares, you get a working product right when it arrives!!!

Top-heavy so it is easy to knock over. Doesn't get hot enough to heat a banger in a reasonable amount of time. Janky fill port won't fill all the way unless you empty it, but when there is still plenty left in it, it won't light. So you waste a bunch just to be able to refill it. Look elsewhere. This is more like a lighter disguised as a torch, but not as good as a torch.

To start off, if you plan to use this for dabs and have a thick banger, youll be heating it up for awhile. I bought one as a secondary for my dab rig and the flame is not very big but it can get the job done. Another thing to note is that since it takes a bit to heat up the banger, youll be burning alot butane. When you go to refill this, use a quality butane or you WILL HAVE TO ADJUST THE WIRE IN FRONT WHERE FLAME COMES OUT.. I refilled mine and it would not light, i finally gently adjusted the piece of wire and after a few adjustments it lights almost every time with the new cheap Ronson butane. My main torch is a Scorch Gabon torch and is highly recommend for a small torch, big, powerful flame.

If you want to dab, buy a regular sized torch. It's really cute, but took forever to get the rig to the right temperature and was very inefficient in equal heat distribution. I had a small rig too! Otherwise, for other matters like a tiny creme brulee it could work fine, it functions fine just at a small scale.
