At first I was a little confused because the cover and chapter titles look different than the U.S. edition. However, the book's content is exactly like the U.S. edition. Great price for a used copy of this. The cover is loose, but is the same as pictured - nothing that can't be fixed with a little glue. The pages are clean, in great shape and unmarked. So much nicer to your eyes to have a paper copy rather than an e-copy.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This was a wonderful purchase. There are multiple "errors" in this book but so worth the money. A few pages are blurry but still readable, one was printed weird with a fold on the page and when unfolding the corner it was not cut flush with the rest of the book. But these are so incredibly minor compared to the cost. I would buy this book again and again!

This is one of two books (the other being Life:The Science of Biology by Sadava, Hillis, Heller, and Berenbaum) that is the best introductory biology textbooks that I have read. It’s used as a textbook for innumerable Freshman biology courses. I highly recommend it or the other I mentioned.
