Saving time and Headaches plus Money
This item is a life saver and easy on the wallet I just fixed two old snowblowers for the price of a evening of dinner. The fit and accurate description proves well with this item other then adjusting the idle speed on the carb , it was simple like plug and play. I'd buy these carbs all day long and recommend them to everyone.

Fuel connection
fuel connection was NOT like the picture. i had to move the throttle linkage to make it work. easy to install except for the fuel line. Several different users of this 5 hp motor use this carburetor and all had the same problem, interference with the fuel line and the carburetor linkage.

Started first pull, but leaks a tiny bit
This carb came fast and was exactly as described. It looks slightly different from the oem carb that Sears wanted to sell me for $98 but it’s an exact fit for my ‘99 5 hp tecumseh that is on my snow blower. My engine started first pull and runs like a dream. The fuel mixture and idle speed are fixed and not adjustable. You will only have to adjust the low idle speed (how low you want the engine speed to go). This unfortunately does leak a little. Either it’s the gasket around the float bowl or the needle seat, I’m not sure. The leak was very minimal, only enough to make my garage smell like gasoline a little bit and I could feel some moisture in the bottom of the carburetor. To fix the problem, I simply bought and installed a plastic fuel shut off valve on the fuel line. Now I just shut ... This carb came fast and was exactly as described. My snow blower would not start. Replaced the Carburetor with the LH195SA model. Very easy replacement procedure. Took less than 1 hour. Snow blower fired right up and runs great. Great value, easy installation what else can you ask for.

Sometimes we hesitate on buying the cheaper product because of the possibility of it being manufactured differently or poor quality. I too chance on both these, and I can't express how pleased I am with my purchase. I bought 2 carbs and removed and replaced both with only one issue that could have happened with any part. The float needle was stuck on one so I had to investigate a little but after correcting this I fired both snowblowers up instantly !!!
