The grip feels better than Glock's own pinky extension. It raises my grip a little because the flip at the end. It's more aggressive than Glock's so it feels like its pushing my hand up. I got these because the magazines with the pinky extension are expensive. They also don't ruin the true function of the magazine. That's a huge plus. I'm ok with 6 rounds +1. It's what I paid for. If I want more ammo I'll get a different gun.

7th round barely fits in and is useless because if the slide is not open you cannot seat the magazine. if you need 7 rounds then chamber one and reload your magazine back up to six instead of wasting $10 on this chuck of plastic. Before you say on a reload the slide is open, I practice tactical reloads where there is still a round in the chamber and I am topping off with a fresh mag. Will not happen with this fully loaded magazine on a closed slide. I use Pierce Grips extensions on other glocks and they work fine. These do not.

For the Glock 43, the grip extension is almost required if you have anything more than a medium-sized hand. And it barely shows it's size if you're doing a CCW. The problem is installing it; Glock has added something new - and much more difficult - to get the base plate off. I tried it myself, several times, finally ended up taking it to a gun store - who had to use pliers (with a cloth) to squeeze the clips enough to get the base plate off. But in the long run it's still worth having the grip extension. and the Glock 43.

Pearce pinky extenders are even better than the original Glock provided ones. The textured finish also looks and feels better than Glock OEM smooth ones. I am not big, only 5'6" and my hands are not big, but the 43 without pinky extender is a bit small even for my hands. Glock supplying only one mag with pinky extender and the other without seems silly to me, it's a minor cost and minimal extra size to carry but a huge help in proper grip and control. Pearce fills that gap well and I was almost tempted to order another and throw away the Glock OEM extender. The only thing not ideal is in the Pearce instructions for removing a base plate which is not clear and not at all easy to do. There is a very simple way, look on youtube, it is very simple - basically just get a punch, press it down through the hole in the base to push the plate/spring as far up into the magazine as you can. Holding the handle of the punch, tip it backwards so the tip of the punch slides along and is touching the inside of the magazine, still compressed as far as you are able to. Keep tipping the punch handle and use it as a lever to slide the base plate off the magazine. Keep a thumb over the base plate and spring to stop it popping out, remove the old base plate and your punch, slide in the Pearce replacement.Read full review

I could not live with the short stock mag cap so I ordered this and it fit perfect and added the extra length and curve to put my pinky on. I did not notice when ordering it was textured the factory is not and it made enough difference that I ordered another to replace the factory mag with a pinky extension. The texture and slightly better curve angle on the Pearce makes it a winner in my book!
