I was looking for my first “real” camera to up my game from just using my iPhone for landscape photos and portraits. Every preliminary search I did on DLSRs for beginner enthusiasts pointed me to the D3400 for ease of use and value. This camera and package was also inexpensive enough that I could make it somewhat of a spontaneous “just hit the buy button” purchase. And it has not disappointed. Super easy to get started and to use. Even my friends who are professional photographers have commented on what a good value and great camera I got. Nikons user marketing and education has been great as well. Happy I jut hit the buy button!
