    These doors are a fabulous

    have had a malamute, shepherd, Bassett, puggle and schnoodle. My mother In laws daschund and large butt collie use the door. Brother in laws min pins all use the door. Our Companies mini Aussie Sheperd used the dog door. It is the best thing we could get for our pets. When they are home alone, they can go into our secure back yard and come in whenever they want. We used to have to get up and let the dogs in & out, but no more, we can sleep all night and the pets have the freedom to go in and out during the day. Thank You for a wonderful product!!!

    sizing

    I bought the large because they do not make the medium/tall that I needed for my patio door doggie door. They said I would have to buy a whole new door. According to the dimensions this is off by about a inch and I will have my son cut it down to fit. They shouldn't have done away with the med/tall replacement flap, I am sure I am not the only person looking for that replacement flap. Nothing against the seller its against pet safe themselves for not having that size anymore.

    perfect fit, exact replacement for the orginal

    I purchased my aluminum sliding PetSafe door insert in 1989. It was clearly time to replace the door flap. Then I discovered they don't make this great door insert any longer, or at least i couldn't find it. I then looked for a replacement online in a Google search. The good news is i was lead to this site. I've been an ebayer for several years, so I was confident that no matter what chance I took I would be ok. The end of the story is this supplier is the right resource and the door and instructions were perfect. We could not be more pleased with the supplier or product.

    Design change?

    This replacement flap, was the right dimensions but the top had nubs on it that was designed for fitting into a track. They must have changed the design along the way. Mine is an older style and is smooth across the top. I had to remove the nubs with a razor and drill holes where there werent any. I made it work but not everyone would do that.

    Perfect Replacement Flap

    The PetSafe Classic Replacement Flap, Large, 700-416, was the exact flap for my dog door. It keeps out bugs and does manage to block hot or cold air. I replace the flap at least once a year. Great product and seller, with a very quick shipment.
