Ok product l guess but not very uniform sized or else s&w grips are not because l have 2 of these in a 1.0 & a 2.0 model and they both fit different even if l changed them from 1 frame grip to the other, one is real tight have to tap in instead of just press fit it and the other is lose to a point that maybe the recoil will cause it to come out ?

Awesome plug was in to loose so put a little superglue on it and stays in good now I guess every gun is a little different but looks great. Wish I had one for my Springfield Armory Mod 2 Compact. Thanks Pearce..

Sand plug to get a good fit. As it comes is too tight. B+
Ok so it could work with some sanding first. The fit was too tight to the point where the magwell bulged out far enough to keep the magazines from going in and out smoothly. I had to pull them out as opposed to gravity doing the work. I realize this all might just be user error for not sanding down a few mm off the tapered part. I do understand if it was too loose it wouldnt stay. So if you dont mind a little prep the plug isnt a bad choice. Just dont force it in like my dumbass did.Ok so it could work with some sanding first. Ok, but...
I like it. It looks nice and does a decent job matching the radius of the pierce floor plates. But i had to file off most of the stem to make it fit. As is, it will flex the frame and make mags hard to load and eject. Also larger magazines are hard to load with it. Not an issue if you only use the smaller mags though

S&W Shield Grip Plug
I have a 40 cal Shield. The one negative is the 7 round magazines will not seat and lock into the frame because the magazine sleeve contacts the grip plug. The plug extends slightly below the frame. I removed the magazine sleeves. The other option is to remove plastic off of the top, rear of the sleeve. The plug does not interfere with the 6 round magazine. I suspect the 8 round 9 mm magazines will have the same issue as the 7 round 40. Good fit. Looks well made.I have a 40 cal Shield. Great addition if using the 7 round mag
I don't care for the open frame in the Shield. It is covered when you use the 8 round mag, but exposed when using the 7-round mag. This plug is easy to insert and has a good fit. Have run about 400 rounds through the gun and no issue with it coming loose at all.
