Just installed this mount in a 100+ year old home with nearly impossible studs to locate behind thick plaster lathe walls. After using multiple methods we did attach the Mount securely to the studs in the wall. We hung a 50” Samsung TV on the Mount after using the two included leveling devices to precisely level the mount. We were truly impressed with the ease at which we were able to adjust the tv precisely with the correct tilt and viewing angle. I must admit it was great to be able to position the tv as far as possible away from the wall on the mount to attach all the input cables then compact the mount back to the wall! This is a really nice heavy duty mount.
