Constant hiss in the audio no matter what I do. I watched videos, read articles, and contacted support. I elected to return the mic because no matter what I did the hiss persisted. The primary use I have for the Rode VideomicPro+ is in conjunction with filming with the Panasonic GH4 and Atomos Ninja Flame in an Axler Cage rig and on a Moza Aircross gimbal rig. I record 4K or 1080-60p 4:2:2 Avid DNxHD 10 bit in the Ninja Flame along with audio from the camera via HDMI as a secondary stereo audio. Then I feed dual channel mono from the Rode VideomicPor+ directly into the Ninja Flame, with 1 channel boosted and the other channel a safety. Works really well. I also use the VideomicPro+ for occasional voice over.
