I have been thinking about acquiring a couple of Go Pro''s for a few years now. The high-end ones are not cheap. And then COBRA introduced this a couple of years ago. It's 4K at 24 progressive. Now that's cool! It also shoots at other popular video frame rates and resolutions. It includes a good-sized replaceable lithium-ion rechargeable battery. That must be recharged from within the camera via the included USB cord.. Installing the memory chip created a bit of a conundrum, technically. The Chinese English instructions are not well written. And the unit does pose some difficulties. Just trying to open it. Because it is not easy to do. Then the memory chip installation is completely counterintuitive. And a bit awkward to do. Numerous indications indicated it could only accommodate a 32 GB memory chip. Where other indications indicated 64 GB chips? I haven't tried a 64 yet. But I have them. It might also be interesting to note. To take advantage of the full 4K at 24 progressive. You need to the fastest memory chips available. Anything less than those? Will force the camera into 2K mode or 1080 mode. To accommodate slower memory. But at least you can choose to compromise or not. Just know. It's a bitch. Accessing and installing that memory chip. You will have to use a small flat leg screwdriver to pry the unit open. And do not be overly heavy-handed. It's still mostly plastic. But all in all. It's a fabulous device. And I purchased, four of them. Some are going for many hundreds of dollars. I found these for under 50. I mean that's crazy! But it will drive you crazy trying to get into the unit without destroying it. I'm a actual technician. So I went about it very carefully. Very methodically. And very frustratingly. The mounting hardware included has a lot left to be desired. It is completely idiotic. No thought went into that whatsoever. So it's not all that easy to mount. And unfortunately. The mounts included are generally, permanent types. There are no easy on, easy off brackets of any sort. No suction cups. No nothing. Plastic clasps. To your kids knapsack. And no helpful application tips how to use them? No wonder they are no longer offered. They dropped the ball on the mountings. Ho-hum. Still a great buy! Still a great picture.Read full review

The camera has connectivity problems with the sand is that fits inside the camera and the battery pushes down on a metal lever that holds the sand is into the contacts on the circuitboard. The problem is it is very difficult to get it to connect properly and it is a poor design in my honest opinion. The manufacturer needs to correct that problem and come up with a better way of putting a SanDisk into the camera.

The battery dies quick in cold weather. It’s brand new and does as soon as it’s cold. That’s a flaw for sure fix that and great product

The battery in this camera doesn't last 15 minutes. It needs to be sold with at least 3 batteries. The camera is cool. The camera also needs a micro sd card in order for it to work. I paid 50 at best buy for 2 64 gig and they also had a cool camera bundle with nouns for bikes and cars. All in all I'm happy with the camera, but when I'm trying to film on my bike the battery dies way to fast.
