wrist BP monitor is difficult to use. If measuring it incorrectly it will be inaccurate ( much higher than arm machine ) best position is sitting. the level of the machine has to correspond with the heart to get accurate result wrist machine is good for travelling. the brand is good as well as the price. I would recommend to have both arm and wrist to compare both machines with arm as the reference one.

We got this thinking it would be a nice addition to the home health maintenance. We used it several times with readings that were never close to the same, at any time. We thought we werent using it correctly and read up over and over how to accurately get a good reading.... My Husband wasnt feeling well.. he used it and got a reading that was incredibly high.. he used it in the other arm and was twice as high.. for both numbers.... worried he went to Urgent Care and actually brought the meter with him. On their meter His Blood Pressure was perfectly normal .... they even waited a while before taking another reading ... which came out to be normal once again... they decided to take it with our meter and the reading was twice as high as the "norm" reading they had just got. The Dr said this meter was of poor quality and to never use it again.Read full review

I like this because it’s small and easy to use, the instruction booklet is very helpful. Instead of a large bulky blood pressure cuff, this is good to also travel with. Either on the road or just taking with you day to day.

My father in law is in his 80s. He decided he wanted to start checking his blood pressure himself, and came home from Walmart with a stethoscope and a cuff, like they use @ the doctor’s office. I sent him back and ordered this. Not only was it half the price, he can actually check his blood pressure accurately. Aside from the battery door being extremely difficult to remove (push forward, then slip your thumbnail in the tiny gap & give it all you got). My FIL has to bring the cuff over to our house because his fingernails are too thick. I popped the battery cover off, put in 2 AAAs and he was pleased as punch and started playing with his new gadget immediately.

This product reads incorrectly or errors out 4 out of 5 times during each day. I have tried adding brand new batteries, following directions, etc. Nothing about this product is safe to count on. Since I have extreme hypertension it is not good for my use.
