Paul Edgecomb is a slightly cynical veteran prison guard on Death row in the 1930's. His faith, and sanity, deteriorated by watching men live and die, Edgecomb is about to have a complete turn around in attitude. Enter John Coffey, He's eight feet tall. There is a clear sense here that all involved in the production knew that this was something special, and gave it their all. I can honestly say that this movie, "The Green Mile" written by Stephen King has become one of my all time favorite movies. You are left with a sense of AWE after watching this compelling treasure. Has several twist and the story line will keep you glued to the screen. All of the actors, including Tom Hanks are at the top of their game in this movie. Trust me...if you would like to see a film where you will be left "SPELLBOUND", this is the one. You won't be dissapointed by far!!!
