I have been using these wonderful guitar picks for years. They sound great with my PA system or when recording. They are very close to the original tortoises shell picks from years ago that are now unavailable and they last a very long time. I mostly use the Medium Size but also have some Heavy.

Been playing acoustic guitar for a year now and after starting with Ukulele with finger strumming/picking, when I picked up a guitar, I suddenly needed to learn the mechanics of a pick. I started off using the Fender thin picks which allow for going deeper into the strings for a newbie like me with little control. I could still tell when I was hitting the strings too hard and was able to adjust while playing. After a year, I'm starting to get the feel of better control and have started using these medium picks by Fender. They are less flexible than the thin and require more precision in your technique. I've tried other picks and unless it's just my imagination, I just seem to have the best feel with Fender picks and this particular shape.

I prefer picks with a serrated holding area or a thin rubber applique to give it more of a tacky area to hold the pick with. I also prefer a thicker pick.
