Anyone who's ever dropped a pick during a set knows how disruptive and embarrassing it can be. These picks not only articulate with the string perfectly, but it's nearly impossible to drop, thanks to the knurling on both sides of the top half of the pick.. The familiar 351 shape feels great in the hand, and the tone--especially on acoustic electric guitars--gets rid of most of the harsh scraping sounds that come through using other picks. But the grip is the trip. The pick stays where it should unless you intentionally drop it.

.88 mm is just above middle stiffness with some flexibility. It is what I use most unless I want more volume. In that case, I use 1.0 For quieter practice on my mandolin, I use .73 mm. All three of these thicknesses produce fine tone with no clicks or clacks. They are very easy to grip and hold. They are extremely durable and just the right size for my fingers.

Like most guitarists I've tried hundreds of different picks over the years, and this one has been my favorite, and that of a number of friends, for a while now. It's a lot like other Dunlop picks but features the "Max-grip" pattern that keeps it from slipping out of your hands, even when they're covered with sweat.

The picks feel soft to the touch. It does not move because of the little rough patch. Great picks. I love all dunlop picks but these are one of three picks that are my TOP Picks..lol

Maxi grips are my current favorite pick, and the 1.0mm thickness works for me in everything from .010s on a Tele to .013s on an arch top. They don’t slip, they don’t take a set, and they have a clean attack.
