This is my third try to write a review on this laser. This "Write a Review" portion of eBay does not work very well. I do not recommend the CM-GAR if you want a COM laser. The advertisement says "Grip It and Rip It," implying that when you grasp the unit the laser comes on. Not exactly. Directions say that one click gives a momentary burst and a double click turns the laser on. Why you would need the momentary feature is beyond me. A better choice might be the CM-MK4 which is basically the same unit but has a push-on-push-off button. The unit arrived with 6 dead batteries. The pressure pad was also questionable, so I took advantage of the 3 year warranty from LaserLyte and sent the unit in to be checked. They promise to repair or replace the unit.

Installed on my kel tec ksg and it's awesome! I love it. A little tricky to get the laser to remain on but it's just a timing issue when pushing it twice to stay on. A few min of practice and you'll have it down no problem. Looks and functions great I feel! Very good value as well! Buy this!

Acquired two of the center mass lasers with the touchpad and neither light would stay functional. It must have a poor design because the lights would go out without warning. The switching mechanisms in the China units costing a tenth as much are more dependable. I finally decided to spend the money and go with the TLR-8 Streamlights.

The switching devise was unreliable. Ended up being in the way of my hands on the Magpul forend. Ended up going with a basic Streamligjt flashlight and strobe.
