If you’re looking for a good piece for target practice, this is an excellent little crossbow. It was easy to assemble, and I did so without looking at the instructions. To string the bow, I placed one end into the ground after pulling it through the stock without tightening. I placed my foot in the middle and pulled the arms back with my free hand until it was slack enough to loop the bowstring. Doing this by hand after already fastening the bow into place as per instructions would be much more difficult. I have shot it more than a dozen times and carried it looped on my belt through dense forest clanging against trees and underbrush, and it seems no worse for wear. When it was first out of the box it was wildly inaccurate, a feature I corrected after multiple adjustments of the sights. It doesn’t seem powerful enough to offer much in the way of protection, and I wouldn’t rely on it to go hunting anything bigger than a squirrel. However, I have not yet tried shooting it with heavier bolts, and it is possible a broadhead would make it a lethal weapon. For the price, this is a bargain.Read full review

Awesome little crossbow, i had ordered one a few weeks ago and when i went to shoot it the three bolts that hold the back end together came apart, a little spring came out and from that point on, the crossbow was no good. I didnt even try to take it apart and fix it because the two back plates were held on by one bolt...i didnt see the bolts come apart because i expected everything to be correct...by this time i had thrown any documentation that came with it in the trash...so..when this new one arrived..i checked the bolts and yes, all of these were loose too...i tightened all bolts on bow and now we are good...a customer should not have to do this

Wear gloves when you bend the bow during installation, the metal cut my hand. Also the bow portion doesn't have any markings so you have to measure/ballpark its correct position while putting it together. Loading this thing is terrifying and the safety toggle should be closer to the trigger. It seems sturdy enough, and it fires one heck of a shot.

This item looked good and made a little boy very happy but the first time I took him to shoot it with him we put it together (also the instructions are broken English at best and incomprehensible gibberish at worst ) cocked it then activated the safety loaded a bolt all the way to the back took aim released the safety and I pulled the trigger the string jumped over the bolt causing it to come off of the limb also the string was damaged and bolts holding it together flew off and remember it was only fired once

My son broke it the first pull he was quite upset so we bought another one and it seems to work just fine. I wish the first one would have lasted but things happen no big deal.
