I'm 72 yr old man with arthritis and Reynaud's. The blood supply to my fingers simply shuts off when the ambient temperature gets into the mid-50s. The arthritis aches all the time -- but I can take some meds to take the edge off the pain. I've used other types of half-gloves for years. I'm very active. Do a lot of outdoor work - gardening, pruning, landscaping. I do wookworking in my garage -- use my hands & handtools all the time. The knit half gloves are bulky & have no grip. THESE gloves are superb. They fit tightly & have the nubbins that grip well.

It offers nice pressure to alleviate pain, and the rubber knobs gives some extra grip if used daily. I only use them at night and I get really hurtful marks from the seams around the thumb. Purchased more expensive ones before and they didn't hurt at all. IMAK all the way.

I am female and after measuring my hands decided to buy the Men's size because my hands are fairly large, plus I have A LOT of swelling in them. I have severe carpal tunnel that causes constant daily pain and swelling in my hands, wrists, and arms. These gloves work well to help minimize the pain and swelling in my hands and wrists. The thin material prevents my hands from getting all sweaty in the hot Summer months, yet still helps keep my hands warm in the cold Winter months-which is often a cause of increased pain for me. They line dry quickly when hand washed. The nubs helps keep me from dropping everything I pick up, which I generally do when not wearing them, plus they help with grasping the steering wheel, instead of making my hands super slick which has been an issue with some of the other compression, and regular gloves I've worn. I would recommend these to anyone who has pain/swelling in their hands and wrists, or have difficulty grasping and holding on to objects. I think once you try them you will love them as much as I do. UPDATED 12/16/17: My doctor mentioned he has been having hand pain, and he asked me how well my compression gloves helped my hand pain, and I told him it was like night and day, and that my hand pain is so much worse without them on. So, after my appointment, and as a surprise Christmas present to him I came home and ordered him 2 pairs, and lol, of course, I had to order myself yet another pair of these awesome gloves as well. It was a nice feeling to know I was going to be able to offer some help to my doctor, who has helped me deal with so many issues for years. Just today I received a hand written thank you card from my doctor saying the gloves were such a nice surprise, and that were helping him a lot at decreasing his hand pain, as well. I Highly recommend these gloves for anybody who is having a lot of hand pain or swelling in their hands because after 2 failed hand surgeries for severe carpal tunnel these have helped me the most, and are "Hands Down" my favorite compression gloves of all the ones I've bought.Read full review

They are very comfortable once you get used to the tighter fit. They are compression gloves after all. They are very light. They have helped my early stages of arthritis. After I remove them I still seem to enjoy relief from discomfort for a short time. We will have to see how they hold up over time.
