Actually bought this in the late fall 2015 and didn't put it together until the spring 2016,,it was very easy to assemble, looks very nice and is very light making it easier to push, love it having the automatic throttle, no throttle cable to wear out or keep lubed, seems to be well built, starts right up,and seems to be a little bit more quite ,doesn't take up much room in my mower shed, giving this a 5***** thumbs up

We have new Zoysia Empire Grass and our area at the beach is not large. This Yard Machine lawnmower is a great little lawnmower. It's simple. It does not have a bag and other gizmos. If it continues to start the way it does, I'll continue to be happy. I like the stop handle on the top; it's easier to keep running and easy to let go if necessary. The directions are a bit complicated but I was warned about that from other reviews. I took it slow and did it correctly.

Just got this mower yesterday and assembled it. I started it this morning, but haven't mowed with it yet because it's raining. The height adjustment says one lever adjustment, but you have to unbolt the wheels, and move them to a different hole to change the mowing height. I never adjust my mowing height, so It probably won't be a problem. I see you can buy adapters on Amazon for $18 that will convert to adjustable. I'm going to try it when good sunny weather gets here before I make any final judgements.

MTD Yard Machines are a great value. The reason I purchased this mower is because I've been buying this same basic 20" model since the early 1980s. I have used them on some very ruff areas and they held up very well.

Fairly easy to assemble, started right up. Very pleased with the performance and would recommend to anyone with a small-to-medium sized lawn.
