    Decent Value

    The cases seem like they can take a few good hits before cracking and will last a while. The calipers work well, they aren't the smoothest but for working in my garage or measuring to make something with my 3D printer they work just fine. I might try to add a drop of oil and that might smooth everything out, otherwise they're a good value for the price.

    Good for a mechanic not machinist

    For the price it works! If you’re just try to get a good measurement. However if you’re a actually making parts on a machine I would spend extra money and get something nicer. I’m just a tractor mechanic but this gives me better results then a machinist rule.
