Yes, they're expensive. Only the initial purchase though. The life of filson products is legendary. I own many: Coats, vests, shirts, hats, socks and bags. The first Filson I purchased(a Tin Cloth coat) is probably 40 years old, has busted brush in West Texas, and fixed many a barbed wire fence...has no tears, no missing buttons....amazing. I'll be using this Heritage Sportsman Bag and my shooting bag, for sporting clays. It's now carrying my shooting vest, shooting glasses, choke wrenches, tools, gun oil, mini-first aid kit, flashlight, and some loose 12 gauge ammo...still some pockets left, and room in main compartment. It'll be thrown in the back of pickups, and UTV's, and I'm expecting a long life for it as well.

Quality construction and materials, nice size. The only fault is that the dividers are not attached to the bottom so things slide under them, making the dividers not very useful.
