Astounding amount of light (high beam) for a pocket flashlight, while low beam offers option of really long run time. Strobe feature great for self-defense use (very disorienting to attacker). I own two of these and give others for gifts. Previously figured that most of these compact 2AA LED flashlights are similar in output and features; not true, this thing is in a class by itself, way ahead of the $10-$20 ones I used to use. A true professional tool.

Great light for me because I use it at fly out outposts where there is no electricity. As a result flashlights with rechargeable batteries are not an option. Because this light uses standard double A batteries it makes it the right choice. However after one battery began to fail it quickly destroyed the LED bulb even though the battery was removed promptly and the compartment cleaned the flashlight still had to be discarded. Lifetime warranty of no use in this situation. 3 Stars.

I used to buy the stylus stream lights until I bought one of these and ever since I did I will never go back, these are 10 times brighter and can dim them down to where they are about as bright as a normal pen light. Yes they are a little bigger but I don’t even notice it in my pocket anymore

I love this light, I have 3 so far, they are small, durable, and light weight. They are very bright at 150 lumens and throw a good beam for their size. They are simple to operate and best of all, they use AA batteries so they are cheep to operate. I have never had a problem with any of these lights.

The 2017, 250 lumen Protac 2AA is a brilliant torch. The clarity and brightness from 2 simple AA batteries is jaw dropping. Ten tap programming is perfection as well. This is my new duty and EDC light.
