The quirkiness of this being a Rand McNally tablet with a GPS app, a little annoying at first but once you figure out the interface, there are several advantages over Garmin and TomTom. Sure the map interface looks dated but Rand McNally information is as up to date as Garmin and TomTom. 2020 maps yielded similar POI’s and where there isn’t a POI listed there address is. Roads have been accurate in the ever changing jungle of Central Florida. Traffic information is built into the tablet instead of a separate app. This means the connection issues that plague TomTom and Garmin app based traffic don’t apply. Simple hotspot from your phone and you’re good to go. One quirk of traffic is that before you begin driving, to see a traffic overlay, you must go into the traffic information update menu then exit the menu to see the actual traditional red yellow green. Further testing may prove that locally specific traffic information may not require this quirk but for a comprehensive overlay this is necessary. My favorite feature by far though, are the local guidebook information built into the gps app! Very informative and fun, and not dependent on internet! Another Awesome feature is the toll costs estimate, also not dependent on internet. All in all, a used tablet is 60 dollars and it does everything only the newest model Garmin and TomToms do.Read full review

This product is not user friendly. I am a google chrome user, but the system uses Firefox as its propriety browser and it will not let me download google chrome. Just for this alone I did not like the unit. The mounting device will not work, because the unit is to heavy for it. The GPS is also not that great. It sometimes gives incorrect directions. I would not recommend this product.

Bought this for two reasons, 1) the GPS, which is great, and 2) to add the optional back-up camera, which also works great! I was a little concerned once I started to install the back-up camera. The provided wiring is not quite as long as it should be. I have an F-250 and to mount the camera on the license plate and then mount the antenna in the taillight was not possible. (I was able to find a safe location but did need to spray some foam sealant to make it waterproof since the antenna needs to be kept dry) It would be nice if they provided a longer cable for wider vehicles.

It's an excellent navigation unit, also allowing voice to text and even speech for your phone. You can install way bigger than 32GB SD Card into it, I'm presently using 128GB. There is an app that doesn't require root privileges that will allow you to install apps onto said SD Drives. I wish it allowed me to install Google Play along with services, you might be able to but I must confess I'm a novice with the Android OS. Also I've yet to find an app that'll allow me to root the system. All in all it has turned into an extension of my phone that I use for work related purposes, like photos, quick estimating of castable, via the apps, etc. It is an Android device but it does sync nicely with my Windows 10 Phone. There is a semi hard case for it from Rand McNally that I highly recommend as well.Read full review

I really like this GPS, it does fall off the magnetic base when you hit big bumps but I found that if you just let it rest against the dashboard, lower the windshield mount toward the bottom of the windshield until the gps rests on the dashboard. Problem solved you won't have to pick it up off the floor anymore. If I had to buy another one that would buy the exact same one because most GOD's are not made just good. I even bought the wireless back-up camera and I use it all in my motorhome.
