The Makita Compact 18v is perfect! I have my HD hammer drill (accentuate the HEAVY in heavy-duty) and this strong but lightweight combo of drill and impact tools is so easy to use. The reciprocating saw is just as strong and lightweight. The bag is nothing to write home about but I knew this going in. I'll most likely buy myself some cases to protect them. These tools have all the power I need for the basic drilling and assembly I do in my shop. I traded my old, much heavier drivers for these and I am not disappointed. About the only limitation is the loss of the hammer drill for concrete. I'll go corded for that and stick with these tools for everything else.
