The holster itself is well made, and the Velcro on the retention snap does reverse. Which is really nice if you need the thumb snap on the other side for ambidextrous carry versatility. The piece of leather on the top ensures a snug fit that doesn't give as nylon often stretches slightly with prolonged use. The trigger is covered when holstered, the bottom of the holster is open enough to allow the barrel of the mace gun to protrude out just noticeably. The thumb safety for the mace gun is not hindered by the retention snap. The holster secures the mace gun more than enough to ensure it doesn't come loose, but slides out very smooth and easily when needed for use. The belt loops on the holster will accommodate up to a 2" belt width, but it's a snug fit to get it on to a rugged duty belt. The mesh belt loops will stretch just enough though if you can wedge something between the belt loops for a day or so. Overall, if you plan on having the mace gun accessible when you need it this item is a must buy.Read full review
