Nice weight. Love the locking feature for marking measurements. My first caliper was plastic and didn’t lock. The steel jaws are great for scribing marks into sheet for accuracy. Seems well calibrated. No problems so far

terrible quality. it is literally unusable. i dont know what i was expecting for such a low price.. oh wait, yeah i do know exactly what i was expecting.. to be able to measure things with any sort of accuracy.. this is anywhere from a few 100ths to a few 10ths of a MM off plus or minus. a gear i KNOW is 30mm exactly i got anywhere from 31.xx to 28.xx making this 100% unusable. you cant even measure whole millimeters its so inaccurate. even when zero'd out and properly used it will vary on the exact same thing you just measured. its not even like its a predictable inaccuracy. it varies so much that you literally cant even use it. 100% DO NOT buy this. pictured shown were all taken after putting the jaws down to completely closed, zeroing the display, opening to slightly larger than the gear, then closed on the gear and held there with the exact same amount of farce. and once with zero force at all. as you can see it is ALWAYS a different number. and not only that, this gear is 30.00mm EXACTLY, and not once did i get that at all. it was always above, and always a different number.Read full review

This is a great Caliper. Being "Hardened Stainless" is a plus. I was disappointed with the Composite one I bought. It only went to 2 decimal places. It even cost the same as this Stainless one. I am really happy. PS: Don't buy the ones that use a Solar type screen to Power themselves. They don't work in dark places or low light automotive situations.

This caliper it’s in deed an absolute garbage, worse 10 bucks I’ve ever spend. The caliber body it’s made of aluminum which will wore out fast with normal use and compromise the measurements, rough edges and the jaws won’t close evenly, you can see the light throught. Spend $14 more and get the iGaging EZCal instead.

Of poor quality, you get what you pay for, so in a pinch, these are ok, but there are others that have a much smoother movement, and repeatable readings. These don't always give the same reading because they are not made to a tight tolerance. If you put minimal pressure on the jaws in reverse, you can get a negative number? How could that be possible, I can't do that with other calipers, zero is zero, and there is no way to get less than zero. So the general function can work, you just should not put too much pressure on it because it will flex and through your reading off.
