This is a really large ESD mat. Just what I was looking for. The mat does not come with the snap connector attached. This is great, because you can install it wherever you want it on the mat. I have never bought one without the connector installed so I was a bit confused on how to install it. If you go to their website and type in ESD1927, it will take you to the product page which has an installation video for the connector. (I would put a link here, but eBay doesn’t allow it.) Basically, you just bend the points down, insert them through the top (blue) of the mat and then bend them back over. Easy peasy. The mat appears to be very well made and should give a good amount of service life.

This mat is sized perfectly, especially if you need to temporarily remove it to do other stuff on the bench like drilling or metal fabrication. It's easy enough to simply unplug and remove the mat for these operations, and it's very quick and easy to replace for electronic work. I don't like that the grounding wire is coiled, limiting its effective length - but most technicians have grounded test equipment close by and it's easy to clip it to the test equipment chassis for a quick and convenient ground source. To anyone who doesn't yet know, the grounding wire contains a 1 megohm resistor to allow gradual static dissipation - it's not a direct connection to ground and should not be.
