How could a wrist-wearing spigo... er, spyga... oh, never mind. How can a blood-pressure-measuring device work on a wrist? I dunno. But it does. Whether measured against the "old" pressure ball, elbow wrapping and stethoscope-wearing tools or the more modern but nearly as cumbersome full-sized electronic version, this little ol' thing really worked! Will we be seeing these in hospitals at any time now? Heck, if I could predict the future my attention would be focused on some Saturday night numbers, if you catch my drift. But I wouldn't be surprised if an industrial-grade device might someday soon. While this device is far from the industrial grade-levels hospitals must demand, it doesn't really need to be at that level for the home user. This wrist monitor is compact, lightweight and, excepting the cuff's tightness (which must happen, anyway, when the little cuff fills with air no matter its location on the body) it's comfortable to wear. The readings come as quickly or more quickly as any other device and if the patient fidgets, suddenly crosses the legs or somehow throws off the readings, it'll restart the process! This sphygmometer (hey!) also records multiple previous readings, so you can see where your present reading is compared to past readings. And one hand is... well, sorry... the user must supply two hands, all things considered. But all it takes is one free hand to attach, fasten and start a process that generally lasts fewer than 60 seconds. Total the features, throw in a carry case, a really nice price and one gets a product that's worth every penny. Oh, just remember to also buy a couple of 3-A (AAA) batteries to provide the "hum."Read full review

I also use two cuff type model, this one is about 6-10 points lower than the other two that I have,... so "NOT AS GOOD AS IT SHOULD BE" ,.... and dose not pump-up very much, you need to hold down the "S" button while its pumping-up and that allows it to pump a bit more(this info is NOT in the manual) ok if you just need a "BALLPARK" reading.

I would buy it again, light, easy to read, has great features, handy, and a good case. Thanks.

It's actually a little tricky to use. Depending on where exactly you put in on your wrist, and how tight you put the band on, the readings very quite a bit. If you need very good readings, you would want to get a more expensive one.

Hi! I recommend it, but you have to use it as indicated, if not it will not give an accurate reading.
