This seems to be a durable unit, but for the price it comes with high expectations. Mine was purchased for OHV / ATV use. On a sunny day it is hard to see the screen. I'm also disappointed in the limited ATV trails that came preloaded. Even doing a map update nothing was added. They seem to be confined to trails near towns and not so much rural areas. What is extremely disappointing is that no after market companies offer data cards with state specific trails for the Magellan like the Garmin. So, with the Magellan it's a blank slate. What's the use of having a gps for ATV trails when it doesn't even show the trials? Bummer. Knowing that now, I wish I would have done more research on the Garmins.

Pros - Easy to setup & use. - Lots of features - Great for making an offload trail. Lots of information that can be added. - can update things on the computer and wirelessly sync to the unit. Cons - Zero POIs in Atlantic Canada. Wrote Magellan for help but no response yet. - Zero offroad trails or tracks in Atlantic Canada (maybe all of Canada) - If you make a route and want to change it you have to start from scratch. Garmin allows you to "pull" the trail around the map.

The bad problem is you have to download the instructions off the internet. Other then that it works great.
