Very well made knife for the price. Blade was super sharp upon arrival. I use this knife at my work bench cutting rags, etc. and only have to run it a few times on on ceramic rod to keep the edge. I'm sure that I will use it this hunting season as well.

so for ten dollars it is a usable knife, this will be my fishing knife , the plastic sheet and ease of use will make this one valuable, the back edge of the blade is rough from the punch out production practice, a few second on the grinder at the plant would have dressed it up nicely, they really should have paid more attention to details like this , that being said it came very sharp, not really keen as it is now but totally usable straight out of the package. for what I paid this is gonna be a really nice bait and line knife, I thought it might be a good bushcraft knife but in my honest opinion it is to light fot for that. I will be using this on every trip fishing and will see if it rust easy. all in all im satisfied

I use it every day since I purchased it and very fond of it. Scandi grind is ridiculously sharp and this little green handle demand serious respect or else keep a box of band aid handy. I use it to cut everything from rice sack thread, bread crumb sack, letter etc. The sheath is nice it comes with belt clip large enough to accommodate Army LBE pistol belt and it comes with drain hole. I use it most often now because it hang on my belt and I don't have to fish for my pocket knife in my pants pocket with dirty hand. Every thing on this knife is plastic or steel so it is a snap to clean. It only has two drawback. First, the plastic sheath doesn't secure the knife as tightly as the more expensive Mora and the plastic belt loop will eventually break. Second, carbon steel blade getting rust and strain easily usually I just spray it with WD40 but I use this knife around food so I coat it with vegetable oil .Read full review

This steel stays sharp with repeated use. When it does not cut like when new, strop it on razor strop, comes right back. I have three of their carving knives, they are all excellent like this one. Very good steel with super sharp edge right out of the sheath.

My first Mora. Not sure what I was expecting, given their reputation for "punching far above their weight class" but I was a bit underwhelmed. I'd like to be able to say it arrived scalpel sharp. Many reviews gave me the impression these come out of the box super sharp but not mine. I laughed a bit after running my finger along the edge. I was somewhat saddened. Deflated as I was, it didn't take long to get it razor sharp. I like how easy this steel takes an edge. Can't remember now what it is, Sandvik I believe. Anyway, yeah if you only have ten bucks to spend on a knife, I can recommend it. You can probably assume, given the simplicity of the design, plastic handle and all, you're just paying for the steel. With the more complex engineering of a folder, that same ten dollars isn't going to buy you much in the way of steel. With the Mora, I feel like you're paying for pretty good steel but they throw in a handle AND a pretty good scabbard with that blade. But let's face it, it's still ten dollar steel. Not awful, and way better than most department store cutlery. Just don't have unrealistic expectations about this knife. Not sure why I did... Read full review
