For such a little part of your gun it make a huge difference, You can see the difference when cleaning your weapon. I have these in all my Glocks Not that I shoot under water but you'd be amazed at how bad weather can ruin your day, I shoot competition USPSA, 3-gun ect and we shoot in all kinds of weather! and I have seen a lot of malfunctions related to water getting into the Gun. Well these little spring cups are worth the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your weapon will fire when needed! For such a little part of your gun it make a huge difference, You can see the difference when cleaning your weapon. Not at all what I thought!
I repair/ build triggers for anyone and everyone who needs a good job done. I really like Ghost products. I think the quality of their product speaks for itself. These don’t speak at all. They are incredibly thin and very poorly made. Don’t waste your money. But a set of OEM Glock cups and you’ll be fine. I could have saved a customer $10 overall without these cheap flimsy things.

Cheap, install easily, and improved reliability
Who can argue with that? They also make the trigger pull ever so slightly smoother. I wouldn’t say lighter just smoother. Very easy to install took maybe 2 minutes and now I can come up out of the water and be ready to shoot like a SEAL. Really it’s just nice to know that it will shoot in any adverse conditions or through excessive fouling.

Prevents striker & safety plunger damage.
The Glock OEM spring keepers tend to hold contaminates and foul the safety plunger. This part kit improves the service life on the safety plunger and striker. It allows the striker to run with contaminates vs. pushing forward of the striker spring. Larger calibers running more gunpowder tend to contaminate this area much more than a 9 MM. As far as "Maritime" use goes, the Glock 17 in its stock OEM form would show little to no underwater improvement in accomplishing an underwater shot because of the striker channel vent hole before the striker window. (F.Y.I.):If underwater shooting is that important, the safety plunger might be omitted thereby opening up a larger water displacement option - greater than what this kit could accomplish, but could result in a unintentional shot from a slam ... No more hard primers FTF
So I shoot often. Therefore I use all variants of Ammo. While I haven't fired this underwater, repeatedly firing of milsurp Ammo eventually the tube would foul and begin light primer strikes. A cleaning and back to good to go. Installation of these so far has not exhibited FTF due to fouling or anything after many uncleared rounds. When I'm in the salt water next time...I've got to try these for their intended use.So I shoot often. Therefore I use all variants of Ammo.
