I was skeptical about the belts at first, but I did some research and watched some reviews and decided to try them. My saw has 2 pulleys so I had to purchase enough for both pulleys. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they work. It did take me a couple of tries to get the correct fitting, but after I played with attaching and taking off the links, it became second nature. If you have a need to replace, I fully endorse this product. My saw does run more quiet than it did before, which is a nice plus.

The link belt uses a staggered overlapping double layered set of connected links. Because of the staggered overlap, the usable length of the belt is measured from the nose of the fist link in one layer to the tail of the last link in the same layer. If the advertised “length” is measured from the nose of the first link in one layer to the tail of the last link in the second layer (or stated as "linear length end to end") then you may be surprised when you receive a belt that is shorter than expected. You'll be receiving one link of the double layer and the next buyer will be receiving the overlapping second link. The missing length that each of you receive is, essentially, being sold twice.

Appears to be extremely durable, very easy to adjust size by adding or removing links, runs smoothly and quietly with less vibration than standard V-belt.

It is a great idea. To be able to replace a belt without removal. It works great on a old Atlas lathe 10f.
