The good: screws onto standard propane bottles-can use either the squat or the tall. Starts and keeps burning no matter what angle you put it. Flame is consistently blue even when throttled a bit. Flame on on first trigger pull-every time. The not so good: it is a bit awkward since it is pretty tall on top of the tall bottle. It would be nicer if the flame adjustment could tone down the heat--it is more of on or off the way it is=all you adjust is how far away it gets hot.
