Very reliable product for monitoring AFIB issues. Best product on the market for the price point. Other that AFIB and normal sinus rhythm. It would be nice if it could suggest other heart conditions.

If you have any heart arrhythmia other than normal or a-fib, this device will respond as "unclassified". That is per the representative I spoke with at Alivecor. I thought it was broke since most (8 out of 10) of mine were "unclassified". Not very useful information if you are unclassified. The recording aspect of the Alivecor Kardia app is only valid for the 30-day free trial period. If you want to continue the recording feature, it costs you $9.99 a month. That is outrageous for an app feature. So it is essentially useless for long term recording of your ecg history.

The set up was no problem. The first ECG I ran turned out fine and I got it back in just a couple days. Luckily, I had a cardiologist visit just a few days later and I took it along. From all appearances, he was greatly underwhelmed. Ho Hum. Nothing to be taken seriously, he said, and some other uncomplimentary things. I showed him the report that I got back and he said that it was "pretty much right". Still, he doesn't want me to send them to him. So, here is how I see it. If this gizzmo keeps me focused on the condition of my heart, and it never does more than that, I will still think it was worth it. But, if you are a cardiologist, and you know how to read an ECG ... maybe this isn't the thing for you. You want the one that comes with its own nurse. J

It was very, very easy to use! The doctors I work with seemed impressed by the results.

I have only good things to say about this product. It works just as described. I was having a 'racing heart' off and on... something that a holter monitor would not have been able to catch because it happened so infrequently. This device recorded my arrhythmia and I was able to pdf it to my cardiologist. GREAT product. Only complaint is that it makes a high frequency squeal that only my kids can hear. Because it's attached to the back of my phone, my fingers touch it when I'm using the phone and they can hear the noise. Otherwise... this is a life saving product, literally!
