VERY GOOD 12" 4 MIL POLYETHYLENE OUTER SLEEVES ( 100 Count ) For LP Records. These are Advertised as being suitable for Double LP Albums, GateFold Thick Albums, etc. BUT I did/do not agree with that Particular Statement. I found that These are adequately sized for Single LPs & Slide easily over the Jacket. Thick & Strong enough to provide decent Protection yet Smooth and Clear so You can See Your Jacket Covers Well even in low light conditions ! These Covers are ( I.M.O. ) too small for Thick Jackets such as Double Albums because they require Force to Stretch them over the Albums thus causing the Jackets to Warp which, of course, will cause the Vinyl contained inside to Warp as well thus Ruining Your Valuable Records ! This Single Detriment forces the LP Collector to have Two ... VERY GOOD 12" 4 MIL POLYETHYLENE OUTER SLEEVES ( 100 Count ) For LP Records. These are Advertised as being suitable for Double LP Albums, GateFold Thick Albums, etc. BUT I did/do not agree with that Particular Statement. Nice and thick but 95% of my records have about 1/8-1/4” edge sticking out unprotected because of the 12.5” width (the side with the opening). The ideal is really 12-3/4x12-3/4. These are too small/shallow and don’t protect the full sleeve of the album - it’s even tight on Eastern European/russian covers which are typically smaller than US covers. I have been a vinyl collector for over 50 years and I just recently replaced all of my old worn slip covers that I had purchased from a different vendor many years ago. These covers are very nice. They are prefect clear with no defects. They are a tad oversize, which is great for double LPs or gatefolds. I expect these covers to last for the duration of my collection. They appear to be well constructed and thickness as described. The price is a bit less than other ...
